BIGBANG’s T.O.P is cast as the main character of Director Kang Hyung-chul’s ‘Tazza 2: The High Rollers’.

According to the film industry on August 21, T.O.P. is exchanging some positive ideas with the film industry personnel on appearing as a main character in ‘Tazza 2: The High Rollers’. The movie is a succeeding series of ‘Tazza: The High Rollers’, which raked in 6.84 million viewers in 2006. It is already attracting much attention since it will be directed by the famous Kang Hyung-chul, who directed other big hits like ‘Speedy Scandal’ and ‘Sunny’,

‘Tazza 2: The High Rollers’ is based on the 2nd book of the four comic books written by Heo Young-man. It tells a story of the nephew of Goni, the main character of series 1, named Ham Daegil, who in Seoul gets into gambling. T.O.P will be playing the role of Ham Daegil.

‘Tazza 2: The High Rollers’ is undoubtedly an appealing offer to many actors as there were rumors on casting big stars like Kim Soo-hyun and Song Jung-gi. Many say that T.O.P. proved his competitiveness by accumulating experiences as actor Choi Seung-hyun, and is a charming actor.

T.O.P, who swept away all the new actor awards by appearing in ‘Into the Fire’, will be playing the main character in the upcoming ‘Alumni’ in the later half of the year. By working with Kang Hyung-chul, who is known for making rookie actors into big stars, T.O.P. will be given more opportunities to work as an actor.

In ‘Tazza 2: The High Rollers’, Yoo Hae-jin who was in the first movie will appear again, while Kim Yun-suk is still giving thoughts on returning as Agui.
