G-DRAGON decided to donate 81.8 million won to Seungil Hope Foundation in celebration of his birthday.
According to YG Entertainment on August 18, in order to spend a meaningful birthday with his fans, G-DRAGON decided to donate 81.8 million won (symbolizing his birthday 8.18) to Seungil Hope Foundation, which is an organization co-presented by a former basketball player Park Seungil for people suffering from Lou-Gehrig’s disease.
From last year, G-DRAGON has been showing an exemplary manner by officially telling the fans to instead of buying him presents, use the money for a good cause.
YG Entertainment’s founder YANG HYUN-SUK is attracting much attention by uploading a self-edited video clip to wish G-DRAGON a happy birthday.
The video clip from the CEO features a teaser of ‘LET’S SHAKE THE WORLD’, a song in G-DRAGON’s upcoming album and also a title song for ‘WIN’, the survival program where the formation of YG’s new boy group is determined. The video is heating up the Internet world, as it became #1 search word on Twitter Trend and Weibo immediately after the release.
